Great actors and directors in the first Visiona Movie Fest in Monza to help La Meridiana.

Great performers and great films will be the protagonists of the first Visiona Movie Fest, the event created by Driadi Produzioni and Hemingway & Co, in collaboration with FF Agency and Sporting Club Monza, with the patronage of the Municipality of Monza and in support of La Meridiana projects.

These are two evenings (17 and 18 May) in which, starting from 18.00 pm at the Sporting Club of Monza, the guests of the event will be honored through special tributes: they will some iconic scenes from their films will be projected and commented on by the directors and actors themselves through a cinematographic presentation moderated by a journalist or a figure from the world of entertainment and publishing.

A bar will be set up outside for aperitifs, cocktails and drinks. From a stage it will be up to a DJ, Simone Besana, entertain the public and guests (from 20pm to 21.30pm) and then it will be the turn of a guitar-violin duo, the Waddafolk, who will perform live music.

There is an entrance ticket for the party (with drinks included) and another ticket to attend the presentations and tributes with actors and directors in the main room.
Access to the external areas (bar & music) is for everyone, even those who have only purchased the ticket for the cinema presentations in the room.

The proceeds from the cinema presentation room will be totally donated to La Meridiana (Slancio e Paese Ritrovato)

Wednesday 17 May Entrance at 18.30pm: to 19.00 Gene Gnocchi opens the festival, – Silvio Cavallo (comedian) moderates the meeting. The homage to the great director Lina Wertmuller through the memory of Gene Gnocchi, protagonist of the film Metalworker and hairdresser in a whirlwind of sex and politics.

All 20.00 pm tribute to director Mimmo Calopresti – moderates the meeting Gianni Barbacetto (Il Fatto Quotidiano). From I prefer the sound of the sea to L'abbuffata, up to Aspromonte – The land of the last, Radical Romance and Versace. Italian auteur cinema.

21.00 pm – Tribute to Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo with the comedy trio and a roundup of scenes from their films. The meeting will be moderated by Francesco Vecchi (host Mattino 5).

Thursday May 18th Entrance at 18.30pm. 18.50pm – presentation of the film The cheese with pears with the director Luca Calvani, the actor Francesco Ciampi, the actress Elena Di Cioccio – Moderate the meeting Diana de Marsanich (journalist editor)

19.50 pm – Presentation of the film The Prince of Melchiorre Gioia with Silvio Cavallo – Federica Fenaroli (journalist) moderates the meeting 20.20 pm – La Meridiana Association

to 20.30 tribute to Alessandro Haber: a life as an actor, an overview of his numerous films through the scenes that have marked the history of cinema. The meeting will be moderated by Roberta Castoldi (poet and musician).

At 21.30pm Grand gala dinner (by reservation only) at the Sporting Club Monza restaurant. Official press partner of the monthly LEI Style. The presence of other illustrious guests is expected.
