“Forme Composte” returns to Modena: an artistic residency for young talents
In Modena, the call for applications for 13 positions dedicated to musicians, dancers and illustrators between the ages of 14 and 20 is reopened for the fifth time. Applications open until November 25th.
“Forme Composte” returns to Modena: an artistic residency for young talents.
Back to for the fifth edition of “Forme compose”, the journey between music and contamination open to very young artists between 14 and 20 years old living in the province of Modena.
The project is promoted by the associations Muse and Ore d'aria in collaboration with the Centro Musica di Modena and offers nine days of artistic residency to create an original production that will debut at the Tenda.
The announcement, online on the Centro Musica website (www.musicplus.it) and for which you can already apply, offers 13 places for artists: five for the music section, four for the dance section and four for the illustration/drawing section. Applications can be submitted until Monday, November 25 by filling out the registration form on the Centro Musica website.
During the nine days of artistic residency, which will take place at the 71MusicHub Tower and at the Tenda between January and February 2025, the group will have the opportunity to work with a team of artists in the sector composed of the musician Enrico Pasini, the choreographer Elisa Balugani and the illustrator Ahmed Ben Nessib. Specific workshops are also planned with external guests such as Gaia Davolio for the theatre, Martina Ronchetti for the choreographic laboratory and others still to be defined.
The project tutors will produce specific materials which will be developed and reworked with the participants through improvisation and arrangement techniques, in a collective performative experience: musicians will delve into improvisation and arrangement techniques, dancers will work on the creation of parts in connection and dialogue with the music, while designers will accompany the performative activity for the creation of a drawn concert.
