“Musical Geographies”, the space-time itinerary designed by FORM's artistic consultant, Vincenzo De Vivo, starts from the Vienna of Haydn, Beethoven and Brahms, which was the capital of music between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
The Austria Felix – Beethoven Quinta concert, evocative and polychrome, restores the Viennese atmosphere between classical style and romanticism. "first page" of that live historical-sound Atlas which constitutes the original structure, stretching across the entire regional territory, of the Symphonic Season signed by the Marchigiana Philharmonic Orchestra. On stage, together with FORM, the young, internationally renowned cellist Erica Piccotti “Young Artist of the Year” 2020 at the International Classical Music Awards (ICMA), awarded by the Kronberg Academy with the “Landgraf von Hessen-Preis” and by the Filarmonica del Teatro alla Scala of Milano with the Prize “Maura Giorgetti”. The direction is entrusted to the great Hungarian maestro György Györiványi Ráth, for the first time on the podium of the Marchigiana Philharmonic.
The concert inaugurates the season of ANCONA CLASSIC, created in collaboration with the Municipality of Ancona, the Society of Friends of Music "Guido Michelli", the Polytechnic University of Marche, Wednesday 17 January at the Teatro delle Muse in Ancona, at 21pm.
The program takes the audience through a sublime listening experience including the Concerto for Cello and Orchestra no. 1 in C major. Of Franz Joseph Haydn, the Variations by Johannes Brahms on a theme by Haydn in B flat major, Op. 56a, for orchestra to conclude with the famous fifth by Ludwig van Beethoven (Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67).
