FILMING ITALY: CINEMA MEETS ART on June 25th and 26th in Rome.

FILMING ITALY: CINEMA MEETS ART is the event held in Rome on June 25th and 26th, to seal the union between cinema and Rome. Organized by Agnus Dei Association by Tiziana Rocca in collaboration with la State Museums Directorate of the City of Rome directed by Dr. Mariastella Margozzi and the director of Pantheon the architect. Gabriella Musto, it makes the characters of the small and big screen interact with art and cultural, artistic and archaeological heritage.

Between Rome and cinema, the idyll has lasted for decades, penetrating the historic alleys, monuments and museums. Cinema has increased the fame of Rome, showing in an indefinite number of films the unique and wonderful corners of the capital. The same places have amplified their beauty, becoming the symbol of the film itself. Just think of "La Dolce Vita", with Anita Ekberg inciting Marcello Mastroianni to enter the water of the Trevi Fountain. The iconic images of "The Great Beauty", an Oscar-winning film, have influenced the viewer, leading him to walk around Rome at night.

"I am convinced that if art inspires cinema, cinema also exposes itself to art. And so we will open the doors of two of the most representative historical sites and museums in Rome, the Pantheon and the Ara Pacis, for an absolutely new and unique event of its kind, in which the public will have for the first time the opportunity to participate in debates with film experts, international and Italian stars, inside breathtaking monuments", she declares Tiziana Rocca, General Director of Filming Italy.

Filming Italy: Cinema meets art it reveals to the spectator the places of culture, both those represented in cinematographic films and allowing them to get to know new ones.
