EXTRALISHOW: a punk story on the edge of the dance hall.

Milano, EXTRALISHOW – A PUNK STORY ON THE BORDERS OF THE BALLET is the new theatrical show, created by Elizabeth Sgarbi in collaboration with Eugenio Lio, which involves the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist MIRCO MARIANI with his Extraliscio, the frontman of Three cheerful dead boys and well-known cartoonist DAVID TOFFOLO and the unconventional actor and writer LEO MANTOVANI.

After premiering last year at “linus – Comics Festival” and after having sold out its debut the March 1st in Ferrara in the prestigious Municipal Theatre, arrives by popular demand in MILAN with 6 dates at the Menotti Theater from 26 September to 1 October.

On 26 and 27 September a special guest will take to the stage, the great actor and director known and acclaimed throughout Italy ANTONIO REZZA, that with Flavia Mastrella has created since 1987 fourteen plays, five feature films, an endless series of short and medium length films. Flavia Mastrella and Antonio Rezza deal with involuntary communication. They received the Alinovi Award for interdisciplinary art, the Hystrio Award, Ubu Award, Naples Award, the certificate of Uniqueness in Culture in Montecitorio, the Ermete Novelli Award and in 2018 it was awarded to them by the Venice Biennale Teatro The golden lion to your career. In 2019 La Milanesiana rewards them with the Golden rose. Their works were presented at Paris, Madrid, Moscow, Shanghai and New York. They have been collaborating for several years with TSI The Actor's Factory – Teatro Vascello in Rome.

Extralishow is a total show, which combines music, words and images. Live music is well represented by dynamism of Extraliscio, guided by the sweet voice of Mirco Mariani, a band that made Sanremo dance when no one could dance yet, back on stage with David Toffolo and his scratchy voice. A show that boasts a musical repertoire that goes from Casadei to Gabriella Ferri, Yes "Marina", The "The beautiful tattooed one", a “White Black Light”, passing through klezmer music, rock, punk, smooth techno, with Mirco Mariani alternating between detuned guitars and unpredictable combinations on the piano keys.

The live drawings of David Toffolo, one of the most beloved designers on the Italian and international scene, who alternates between the desk and the microphone. Finally there is Leo Mantovani, ready to sabotage the show with fun bits of Folk music history. From Tuesday 26 September to Saturday 30 September the show will be held at 20.00 hours.
