“Enfanthéâtre”: new season approved
This year the festival is under the High Patronage of the European Parliament.
“Enfanthéâtre”: new season approved.
Aosta, with a resolution approved today Giunta proceeded to approve the addresses of the twenty-ninth season of “Enfanthéâtre", 22nd International Theater Festival for Girls and Boys City of Aosta, scheduled in November 2023 and January 2024 for a total of 11 shows.
This year the festival by virtue of the proposal of representations they face important issues such as social inclusion, cultural diversity and human rights, has obtained the High Patronage of the European Parliament whose next elections will be held in the period June-6 9 2024. All shows will be held in the renovated Giacosa theater on Saturday afternoon. Like last year, tickets will cost 5 euro for adults and 3 euros for children and teenagers. As in the previous edition, it will be possible to vote for the shows at the end of each performance by scanning a specific QR code, identifying each show, located in the theater hall.
Among other confirmations, the “artistic/theatrical lunch”, a performance to be carried out during lunch the day before a date included on the bill in a refectory of the city schools, by one of the selected theater companies, free entry on the occasion of "The Charaban of Petchou”, a play in the Franco-Provençal language adapted for age in terms of content and language, represented by a popular theater company from the Aosta Valley as part of both theatrical programmes, and the “Enfanthéâtre Award” on the occasion of the "Foire de Saint-Ours” on 30 and 31 January, in synergy with the regional Department of Productive Activities, whose jury will be made up of small participants who will be asked to find a prize to give to the winning company of the review 2023/2024. ./.
It will be back for school groups too spin-off “Funthéâtre” which, for the occasion, transforms into “FANThéâtre”, with qfour free matinees (for a total of seven performances) dedicated to boys and girls from middle and high schools in the region. The new season of “Enfanthéâtre” – this year also supported by the bank BCC Val d'Aosta – Cooperative Credit – will be officially presented Tuesday 10 October at 17pm in the Giacosa theatre on the occasion of an event open to the public and the media which will see, in addition to the presentation of the program of shows, also the award ceremony for the show most appreciated by the public of the past season. During the evening the documentary film made by videomaker Luca Dodaro which tells the magic of Enfanthéâtre through images.
