On July 18th at 21.30 pm, the Villa Comunale will host the performance of Antonio Fava as part of the Crotone Summer 2023 promoted by the Municipality of Crotone “Nasi, Mustacchi and Lazzi”.
A tribute that Antonio Fava, theater actor, writer and playwright, director of the International School of Comic Actor in Reggio Emilia, pays to the Commedia dell'Arte.
The Commedia dell'Arte, as Fava recalls, a genre that was previously called Commedia Zannesca, Commedia Improvvisa and which has developed through five centuries of history and today is more alive than ever thanks to the same actor who continues his tradition and diffusion.
Specifically in “Nasi, Mustacchi e Lazzi” Fava presents himself as Antonino il Calabrese who comes from the 17th century, in stage costume, to tell and show his theatre, reviving masks such as the Magnificent, the Doctor, the Captain, the In Love and his favorite Pulcinella.
