“CINEVANZINA”: Cine34 dedicates three days to the cinema of the Vanzina brothers, with 15 blockbuster films and an unreleased special.
On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the death of Carlo Vanzina (8 July 2018), Cine34 dedicates three days to the golden brothers of Italian cinema, composed of 15 blockbuster films at the box office and by one special original and unpublished title The Cinema of the Vanzinas – the Cinema of Carlo and Enrico. From Thursday 6, Saturday July 8, from 15.00pm to late at night, the exhibition – born from an idea by Marco Costa, Edited by Andrea Rurali and Gianluca Genovese – offers a mix of cult works, such as Horse Fever – La Mandrakata, Savages and Holidays in America. And, on July 8, at 23.00 hours, the testimony of Enrico Vanzina who – interviewed in his home in Campo Marzio, in the heart of Rome – retraces the career shared with Carlo, between curiosities, anecdotes and memories.
The homage of the thematic network exclusively dedicated to Italian cinema is divided into:
- on the 6th, from 15.00 pm, Banzai; Viuuulently mine; Flat feet; Small, big love; Nothing under the dress – The last fashion show;
- on the 7th, from 15.00 pm, Billions; Piper; South Kensington; Savages, Holidays in America;
- on the 8th, from 15.00 pm, Loving yourself a little; VIP; The return of Garbage, Horse Fever – La Mandrakata; at 23.00 pm, Il Cinema dei Vanzina.
