From 7 to 10 November, the fifth edition of Chocomoments transforms the centre of Messina into an open-air laboratory of sweets, with workshops, show cooking, events for children and lots of chocolate to taste.

The chocolate factory in the city center with Chocomoments Messina, from Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th November, will enliven the pedestrian area of ​​Viale San Martino with all its attractions.

The event, sponsored by the Municipality of Messina, organized by Chocomoments, leading company for the diffusion of live chocolate processing in the major Italian squares, in collaboration with Radio Zenith and Blue Sea in Sicily and with the support of the municipal administration, is characterized by a rich program of events designed to involve audiences of all ages.

"Four days of events that will include, in addition to the classic stands, also workshops for children and adults and show cooking. The scents of chocolate – they declare Mayor Federico Basile and Councillor for Productive Activities Massimo Finocchiaro - will invade our city, accompanied by entertainment for children and many delicious proposals for everyone, a special occasion to discover and taste the rich assortment of chocolatey proposals. Our intention in sharing Chocomoments is always to create a strong attraction that, in addition to allowing citizens an organoleptic journey among sweets, excellence and typicality, is a reason to participate in a kermesse of healthy fun, music and recreational-sports entertainment to enhance the territory from an economic and social point of view".

The calendar of events will open on Thursday 7 November with the proposals of the “Chocolate Factory”, container of lessons, cooking shows and tastings designed to allow the public to witness first-hand the various stages of cocoa processing and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a real artisan laboratory.

Furthermore, there will be no shortage of the artisanal chocolate market exhibition, open from Thursday 7th to Saturday 9th, from 10am to 23.30pm and on Sunday from 10am to 20pm, where it will be possible to purchase high quality chocolate products. Don't miss the irresistible show of the Guinness World Record Bar: 15 meters of chocolate that will be made on Saturday 9th, at 18 pm.

Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th, from 10am to 12pm, space for adults who can learn how to make chocolates by taking part in the chocolate making course for beginners, curated by master chocolatiers ChocoMoments (paid with mandatory reservation at: giancarlo.maestrone@gmail.com).

For the little ones, instead, the ChocoBaby workshop is scheduled, where, always under the expert guidance of the Chocomoments artisans, children will learn to make exquisite chocolates with their own hands to enjoy at home, an opportunity to learn while playing, which will be repeated every day from 15.30:17.30 pm to XNUMX:XNUMX pm. Everything needed for children to unleash their creativity is available: aprons, hats, gloves and tools for working (for a fee, no reservation is required).

Not just cocoa, because to complete the program of events, every day, there will be musical entertainment and interviews by the Radio Zenith Village station; magic shows and itinerant mascots, proposed from “Magic lab with the creation of a magic wand” and “Fashion lab for the creation of Lip Balm”; awards for the athletes of the Messina Rugby sports association and the Team Volley Messina company; and also a Jurassic workshop with the creation of a dinosaur footprint; the itinerant dance group “Grease” and the western Mamba dance studio Happy dancing; and on the final day of Sunday 10, starting at 16.30 pm, a moment also dedicated to the spouses.
