With the arrival of the autumn season the traveling artisan chocolate festival signed byItalian Events Association. A unique opportunity for passionate about the world of sweets, who will have the opportunity to taste many products and make a quality purchase directly from the producers.
The first stage will be held in Potenza, in Piazza Mario Pagano, dfrom Thursday 28 September to Sunday XNUMX October, uninterruptedly from 10pm to midnight and to free entry.
Will four regions of Italy from which the artisans and producers of Choco Italia will arrive and will allow an organoleptic journey through sweetness, excellence and typicality.
The initiative is sponsored by municipality of Potenza, thanks to the availability of the mayor Mario Guarente and the commissioner Stefania D'Ottavio, and created in collaboration with theONE IS National Union of Event Organizers and theThe Chocolate Way Association.
“Chocolate also deserves to be declined in the plural, there is a world behind this sweet word. This is why during the various stages of Choco Italia we are committed to providing correct information and enhancing variety and typicality. A healthy lifestyle starts from awareness of what we eat”, underlines the president of Italia Eventi Giuseppe Lupo.
Among the new features this year there will be “The Healthy Snack”. Visitors will be offered ancient bread Cipì Bakery of Via Pretoria, accompanied by an artisanal spreadable cream made with the Giffoni PGI hazelnut from the ANoble Agricultural Company. A healthy snack idea that brings you closer together artisanal products, also an opportunity to support a local association. In fact, by purchasing a hazelnut spread you will also support it Il Quadrifoglio educational community and the Four-leaf clover Children, organizations involved in numerous projects to support childhood and adolescence, coordinated by Jessica Basentini.
An international network for quality chocolate:
The Chocolate Way represents the first international network that celebrates the culture, tradition and history of chocolate in Europe. The goal is to promote and connect historic European districts of high quality chocolate, to rediscover and promote its tradition, culture and value. Italy Events is one of the members of this international association.
Choco Italia products:
There are four regions which, with their products and producers, characterize this first autumn stage in Potenza di Choco Italy.
In addition to some Lucanian realities, from Campania it will be possible to find it again a company from Angri which produces artisanal chocolate and cremini of all flavours, including an alla type Annurca apple. The space dedicated to the Giffoni PGI hazelnut, where not only will it be possible to find the artisanal spreadable cream and the hazelnut proposed as is, but also the crunchy of hazelnuts made at the moment. The fine honey, of various types, will come from Capaccio Paestum, while sweets, lollipops and marshmallows from Naples. Numerous chocolate and traditional Neapolitan desserts.
From Calabria a load of will arrive licorice: sweet and raw, sweets and blocks to prepare the liqueur with an ancient Calabrian recipe.
From Sicily the precious and ancient Modica chocolate, but also spreads made both with this type of chocolate and with Bronte pistachio. It will also be possible to taste the Sicilian crunchy made with almonds, pistachio and sesame, made on the spot. They won't be missed Nougat, made in various flavors, pralines, Sicilian cannoli, cassata and desserts with almond paste.
