At Carcan Theater di Milano 24 from October to 29 on stage Zither… once - Homage to the Cetra Quartet, an exciting concert show performed by Do Linguis (Stefano Fresi, Toni Fornari and Emanuela Fresi).

A tribute to the most famous quartet on the Italian stage and television, give them 40s to 80s: the Cetra Quartet. The music, the songs, the memorable parodies of the unforgettable Quartet are revived in this show from three exceptional performers in which it stands out Stefano Fresi, candidate for David di Donatello for the cult film I Quit Whenever I Want, winner of two AI awards Silver Ribbons in 2019, as well as the protagonist of the series The Glimmer Crimes.

A journey between past and present, between melancholy and laughter, in the magical wake of a quartet that has become legend.

"Do you know the Cetra Quartet?” If you ask a twenty-year-old, he will shake his head and make a displeased emoticon. But just hum "In the old farm..." and he, with the bright eyes of someone returning to childhood, will reply "ia...ia... ò!"
This is all the magic of Cetra, they are part of your life even if you don't know it. Their musical legacy does not need to be acknowledged; it's just there. Having entered the DNA of a people, they have accompanied generation after generation to the sound of unforgettable songs. With them you can feel a family atmosphere. And it is precisely in the family that our love for them was born. I, my brother Toni, Stefano, his sister Emanuela, many years ago, listened to their songs. Then Stefano, Toni and Emanuela began to sing them, first, then to modify them, to rewrite them, to reinvent them. And here we are at the meaning of CETRA ONCE: not a philological story, not just the story of a group that made history, but an act of love for what inspired us; songs, sketches, musical parodies, gags and above all lightness, fun and love for this profession of ours. I wanted, together with the set designer Alessandro Chiti, to create a scene that embraced the performers, contained them and which could be, from time to time, radio, television studio, album of memories, theater. A journey between past and present, between melancholy and laughter, in the magical wake of a quartet that has become legend.
