For about 20 days there cultural review “Genesi” he animated the monumental complex of San Giovanni with an innovative spirit during the Christmas period.

This initiative is the result of collaboration between Catanzaro cultural associations AmatoriArte and Factory+, transformed the Gallerie del San Giovanni into a lively cultural epicentre, revealing the dynamism and creativity that animate our city. The variety of events, ranging from live music to artistic discussions, captured the interest of a diverse audience, offering a valuable platform for emerging talents from our territory.

The collective exhibition of AmatoriArte set up in the galleries, it represented another strong point of the event, exhibiting the works of professional and emerging artists. This exhibition not only visually enriched the space, but also offered a significant showcase for contemporary artistic production.

The same can be said for the performances extraordinary music and the Factory+ debates which provided food for thought and dialogue.

"Genesis" it demonstrated how culture can be a powerful vehicle for social cohesion, innovation and the promotion of local talent. This event was a clear example of how collaboration between different cultural realities can generate significant and impactful experiences.

I feel I have to thank everyone who helped make “Genesis” a reality: the organizers, the artists, the participants and, of course, the audience. A combination of young people who live in Catanzaro but also of young people who have left their city and with great enthusiasm, when they return, contribute to the realization of these events thanks to the training they acquire abroad: a way, the latter, to enrich our territory, valorising the phenomenon of emigration and fueling the circuit of ideas that can make our city grow in terms of art and culture" declares the councilor for culture, Donatella Monteverdi.
