The magical atmosphere of the concert Damien Rice scored the opening, in the Bellini Garden, of the cycle of great events of the Catania Summer Fest.

The last one, My Favorite Faded Fantasy, produced with Rick rubin it is the fruit of a exile in Iceland after artistic and sentimental breakup with Lisa Hannigan. A wonderful song, also performed for the Sicilian public, which confirms Rice's ability to write songs full of intensity that delve into feelings, with sparse sounds, between folk and rock seeking epic tones.
After the spring sold out a Milano and in Udine, the songwriter of The Blower's Daughter, which many will remember from the soundtrack of the film Closer, returns to the spotlight alongside the Spanish Sílvia Pérez Cruz who - in addition to singing some pieces with him - opened his concert.
