Catania and social services: the Childhood Center is built to give more opportunities to families.

The “Play Spaces”, on the other hand, are another type of reception, It provides for the placement of children, aged 12 to 36 months, in suitable places to allow 90 children to play and interact with their peers, under the supervision of expert Third Sector operators. Although different from traditional nurseries, “play spaces” are important for the child’s development.

Essthey facilitate the transition between the child's various environments, like the house and the school and they are also free and tested for the first time in Catania.
