Campobasso, jazz invades Villa De Capoa for the 2021 Music Festival
Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd appointments with "Jazz in Villa"
Campobasso, la Music Festival edition 2021 invaded Villa De Capoa throughout the day on Monday 21 June. From morning until late evening, the musicians' performances enlivened the suggestive atmosphere that was created inside the municipal villa.
Now in its twenty-seventh edition, the initiative originally conceived in France by the Ministry of Culture, over the years, throughout the world, has managed to involve amateur and professional musicians who, as on the occasion of what happened in Campobasso thanks to the the organization of the Conservatory of Music “L. Perosi” of Campobasso and of the Department of Culture of the regional capital municipality, every 21st June, invade the most disparate places, especially outdoors, and among these mainly gardens.
“The Music Festival has always managed to incorporate, in a single day, that spirit of spontaneity, availability and curiosity typical of art forms that develop and implement in the most authentic and profound ways. – declared the Councilor for Culture, Paola Felice – We thank the Perosi Conservatory for organizing this 2021 edition together with the Municipality of Campobasso in the setting of Villa De Capoa and we thank all the musicians who have given their availability to play, practically for an entire day, offering our city community an important series of free concerts and demonstrating how all music belongs to the Festival.”
As announced at the press conference in recent days that the representatives of the “L. Perosi” of Campobasso held together with the municipal administration, the musical notes will continue to spread in Villa De Capoa also in the next two days, thanks to the two evenings of Jazz in Villa on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd June, also curated by the Perosi Conservatory .
Tuesday 22 June, from 19.30 pm, the rich program includes the VOICE AND GUITAR PROJECT, curated by the Masters Ada Montellanico and Nicola Cordisco, with the voices of Federica Marelli, Fabiola Valerio and Serena Minicucci, the guitars of Nicola Cordisco and Francesco De Simone ; music by J. Van Heusen, AC Jobim, T. Wolf, L. Hampton, D. Ellington, I. Jones.
We will then continue with the ENSEMBLE MUSIC GROUP I, curated by Maestro Luca Pirozzi, with voices by Federica Marelli, Viviana Apicella and Giulia Di Staulo, guitars by Marco Alfano, Saverio Tarantini and Francesco Tosto, bass by Gino De Meo, drums by Filippo Cocozza; music by J. Zawinul, H. Mancini.
It will then be the turn of the VOCAL ENSEMBLE I and II, curated by Maestro Luca Pirozzi, with voices of Federica Marelli, Viviana Apicella, Giulia Di Staulo, Serena Minicucci, Giulia Maselli, drums by Filippo Cocozza; music by D. Reeves.
Also curated by Maestro Luca Pirozzi, there will be the ENSEMBLE MUSIC GROUP II, with the voices of Serena Minicucci and Giulia Maselli, guitars by Marco Franceschelli, Giuseppe Tancredi and Pio Mascia, piano Domenico De Simone, bass Gino De Meo and Erennio Pistilli drums; music by R. Anderson.
To complete the evening of June 22nd of Jazz in Villa, the PROJECT ON ITALIAN SONG, curated by Maestro Domenico Napolitano, with music by P. Daniele, B. Lauzi, L. Tenco, G. Paoli, B. Canfora/A. Amurri, L. Dalla and the TEACHERS CONCERT with the trio composed of FERRAIUOLO, PIROZZI, SFERRA and music by C. Porter, I. Berlin, J. Van Heusen, H. Hancock, J. Kern, W. Shorter.
