Caltanissetta: the 8th edition of International Street Food debuts in Sicily
From November 15th to 17th, the 8th edition of International Street Food arrives in Caltanissetta, the best Italian and international street foods. Event created by Alfredo Orofino, with specialties from all over the world.
Caltanissetta: the 8th edition of International Street Food debuts in Sicily.
The 135th stage of the 8th Edition of the International Street Food 2024, the most important street food event in Italy, organized by Alfredo Orofino, President of AIRS (Italian Association of Street Restaurateurs) in collaboration with Confartigianato Imprese di Caltanisetta and with ANCoS Aps. It will be in Sicily for the first time from Friday 15 November to Sunday 17 November 2024, it will land in Caltanisetta in Viale Regina Margherita, (Friday 18.00-24.00, Saturday and Sunday 12.00-24.00).
The initiative dedicated to quality street food has now conquered the general public and will have 150 stops, distributed throughout the country, until the end of November 2024.
An intense calendar of events, which is touching all corners of the country and allowing the large public to taste the best Italian and foreign specialities, in the name of quality, passion for good food and conviviality.
The most important trucks and stands in Italy with excellent street food are welcoming visitors. An event of great originality for the international cuisines present, which does not forget the regional gastronomic realities from all over Italy.
In Caltanissetta it will be possible to taste among the many specialities arrosticini, Sicilian cuisine, pasta with cheese and pepper, various supplì, pulled pork, Angus hamburgers, Apulian bombette from the Petriglia bakery, Argentinean cuisine, various cocktails from Casa de Cuba, Greek cuisine, Hungarian kurtos, hanged caciocavallo, Neapolitan pizza, Pontine puccia, Tunisian cuisine. There will also be excellent Italian, European and international craft breweries.
In the same place you will be able to taste products from different countries and distant places and be surrounded by many aromas and flavors.
The new edition has started off with a bang, building on last year's success. The public is flocking in large numbers and with great enthusiasm to each stage to taste the delicacies cooked by the protagonists of this festival, the street chefs, who have defended their Street Food with stubbornness and pride. Once again, also in this stage, there will be many itinerant restaurants and qualified chefs ready to amaze with the peculiarities and quality of their cuisine. Excellence, originality, tradition and respect for hygiene and health standards are the watchwords for each stage of this festival.

At the same time as Caltanissetta the event will be from November 15th to November 17th in Bergamo and from November 18th to 21st in the splendid city of Trapani.
The International Street Food will also touch many other cities, traveling per the length and breadth of the boot until the end of November. It will be present in Urbino, Terni, Teramo, Macerata, Cosenza, Montecatini, San Benedetto del Tronto, Lecco, Naples, Giulianova, Rieti, Bergamo, Cassino, Ariccia, Biella, Sutri, Cornadero, Potenza, Como, Chioggia. These are some of the many cities in Italy that will host this event.
