The month of November Mo.Ca – Center for New Cultures continues to be enriched by the extensive programming of the Wonderland Festival organized by Idra Teatro. In addition to the theatrical performance focus, numerous contemporary art and photography exhibitions continue to take place, maintaining a multidisciplinary and inclusive approach.
Monday November 25
At 15pm, at the Informagiovani, it will be held the latest visual arts workshop aimed at kids aged 12 to 21. The course, curated by Tutti in Trap and led by photographer Riccardo Ambrosio, is completely free and will take place until 18 pm. A unique opportunity for young people to express their creativity and learn new artistic techniques.

Tuesday November 26
At 20.30 pm a special evening organized by Idra Teatro and Piccolo Cinema Paradiso, with the screening of the film “Traveling Clouds” by Aki Kaurismäki.
The story of Ilona and Lauri, a couple who face the loss of their jobs and a series of difficulties, finally finding a new beginning thanks to their strength and mutual support. A poetic film that tells the challenges of life with delicacy and hope.

At 18.30:XNUMX pm Idra Teatro and Noemi Tarantini will hold a meeting to reflect on the role of art and cultural heritage as active tools for change. From 18pm, at the Informagiovani, young people between 14 and 30 years old have the opportunity to prepare their trip abroad with the event “Your CV in English” to prepare young people aged 14 to 30 to live an experience abroad. In collaboration with WEP Italy, during this free workshop you will be able to learn how to write your CV in English with the help of a native speaker expert from WEP and simulate a Job Interview in the language to best face a job or study interview abroad.
You will also discover useful information about Canada and the USA, from the job market to study and internship opportunities.

Friday 29 November
From 16.30 pm, at the Informagiovani, the exhibition “Maschi e femmine sono non diversi” opens, an event promoted by the Municipality of Brescia (Uds Social Programming and Planning – Right to Education and Equal Opportunities Sector) and by the Interinstitutional Territorial Network Against Gender Violence, managed by the Educational Services for Children Sector (0-6 years). The works created by the girls and boys on the theme of gender equality will be open to visitors. During the event, the teachers of the Rebuffone Nursery School of the Municipality of Brescia will present the educational project.

At 19 pm, the exhibition “Stare dietro” by Elia Flores Fraile opens, displaying 19 embroideries, works that explore the relationship between the front and back of canvases, telling stories through images and threads. The subjects, often linked to food, come to life in tableaux vivants full of symbolism and vitality.
Elia is part of the MAKERS HUB project BRESCIA, which aims to encourage youth entrepreneurship. The call supports the growth and employment of young businesses, accompanying those interested in building a path of innovation and self-entrepreneurship in the fields of craftsmanship, start-ups and self-employment within Mo.Ca.
At 21 pm, in the spaces of Idra Teatro, the show El Festin de lo Cuerpos by the Danza Mobile collective will be held. A journey inspired by Plato's thought, which celebrates desire, diversity and the body as a universal connection. Between play and depth, the performance explores movement and human erotic intertwining, recounting the search for one's "other half" with lightness and poetry. A banquet of emotions, where bodies become living symbols of the matter that unites us to stars, trees and insects.

At 22.30pm it will be staged Woofer – A Space Journey, an immersive experience curated by Idra Teatro, Luca Ceribelli and Davide Bussoleni. “Woofer” is a spaceship powered by music and images, ready to transport the audience through the most exciting stages of space exploration. A show that combines art and science, culminating in the breathtaking view of Earth, our fragile “blue marble”, home to all known life forms.

Saturday November 30
At 15 pm, in the Courtyard of the Palace, Home will take place, an interdisciplinary event curated by Idra Teatro, in collaboration with Piccolo Cinema Paradiso and Accademia Santa Giulia, curated by Sophie Thirion. “Home” is a performance that fuses dance, theatre and visual arts to explore intimacy, identity and belonging, revolving around the notion of “home”. Spectators, immersed between 4 walls of paper, observe and participate in the enigmatic and changing stories of characters who inhabit this fluid and dynamic space. A poetic and powerful journey that challenges prejudices and invites us to reflect on our idea of home, between visible and invisible, with glimpses of life told with humor and poetry.

At 21.30 pm, It Don't Worry Me will be performed, a show curated by Idra Teatro and Atresbandes – Bertrand Lesca & Nasi Voutsas. A bold exploration of the tension between art and political correctness. In a seemingly empty space, two commentators analyze what is happening in the room, but their musings soon spiral out of control, giving way to theories, visual associations, and unexpected confessions from three 70s-style spectators. Awarded the Catalunya Critics' Prize 2021 (New Tendencies) and the OFFIES London 2022 (IDEA: Production), It Don't Worry Me is a provocative and surprising journey into the meaning of art.

At 22.30:XNUMX pm, Path is held, an immersive experience by Delia Trice, Silvia Mercuriali and Morten Poulsen that invites the audience to actively participate. PATH transforms the audience into protagonists: a game that culminates in a live party, exploring contemporary fears and collective bonds.

The exhibitions of Ma.Co.f are paid with a full entrance ticket of €8 and a reduced ticket of €5. They can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday from 15:00 to 19:00.
MO.CA – Center for New Cultures is an incubator of innovative projects in the field of contemporary art and culture. A public space for design experimentation and aggregation that offers artistic-cultural experiences and opportunities for professional growth. MO.CA hosts 8 cultural associations, a university institution, two municipal offices and the Makers Hub project, in support of young entrepreneurs in the field of innovation and craftsmanship. The proposed activities range from art exhibitions and live concerts, to theatre and music festivals, multimedia projects and training and orientation programs for young people. MO.CA is a valorization project promoted by the Municipality of Brescia, in collaboration with: ASM Foundation, Brescia Infrastrutture and the trade associations Assopadana, Confartigianato, CNA, Brescia Artisans Association.
