Performed by the choir “Music that unites”: choir of the students of the fourth and fifth classes of the Volta primary school, with Giulia Mariani on the piano and conducted by Gérard Colombo.

Although the days of the “scramble for Africa” may seem distant, the continent is increasingly at the center of the interests of a multitude of external actors, both state and non-state. Yet, the rise and consolidation of several indigenous leaderships are relaunching the ambitions of a geopolitical space that aims to play a leading role at the local and international level. The meeting aims to discuss the region's potential, the power dynamics that are changing its balances and its position at the international level.

The meeting is dedicated to developing a reflection on the experience of great clinicians who have chosen the profession of care and who work on a daily basis for the well-being of their patients. The war that is affecting the Palestinian people calls these doctors to put their professionalism at the disposal of wounded and traumatized people; they themselves go to Palestine, putting their own lives at risk.

to 19, Convent of San Francesco, in Conference Hall Fra Giacomo Bulgaro in Piazzetta San Francesco D'Assisi 3/a, the presentation of the book “ is scheduledAfrica, round trip”, published by Laterza. Thirty young volunteers from Cuamm (University College of Aspiring Missionary Doctors) in the form of a letter tell of journeys, all different, that draw trajectories of outward and return journeys. The meeting involves the involvement of Don Dante Carrara, director of Doctors with Africa Cuamm and will be moderated by Gian Antonio Stella.
