continuing Friday 22 November the initiatives of Peace Festival 2024, organized by the Municipality and Province of Brescia with the patronage of the European Parliament and Amnesty International.
All 15, Borsoni Theater in via Milano 83, the concert will be held “Harmonies of rebirth. A journey of music, peace and integration between generations and ethnic groups in a renovated neighborhood”. An event of restitution to promote the social regeneration of a complex neighborhood. An intergenerational concert in the name of peace and integration between the different resident ethnic groups.
Performed by the choir “Music that unites”: choir of the students of the fourth and fifth classes of the Volta primary school, with Giulia Mariani on the piano and conducted by Gérard Colombo.

to 17, at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in via Trieste 17/b, the conference is planned “Africa at the Center of a New 'Great Game'? Regional and International Geopolitical Dynamics".
Although the days of the “scramble for Africa” may seem distant, the continent is increasingly at the center of the interests of a multitude of external actors, both state and non-state. Yet, the rise and consolidation of several indigenous leaderships are relaunching the ambitions of a geopolitical space that aims to play a leading role at the local and international level. The meeting aims to discuss the region's potential, the power dynamics that are changing its balances and its position at the international level.
Speakers George Battisti, president of the International Institute of Humanitarian Law of Sanremo, Lorena Star Martini, analyst at Ecco Italian Think Tank for the climate, Aldo Pigoli, founder and CEO of Baia srl – Business Artificial Intelligence Agency, Professor at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Andrea Plebani, researcher at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
The conference is promoted by Mine Action Italy in collaboration with the International Institute of Humanitarian Law, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore – Department of Historical, Philological and Social Studies.

to 18, in the San Barnaba Auditorium in Corso Magenta 44, the conference will be held “I am a doctor in times of peace and in times of war. Stories of grassroots re-action for rights”. The meeting is dedicated to developing a reflection on the experience of great clinicians who have chosen the profession of care and who work on a daily basis for the well-being of their patients. The war that is affecting the Palestinian people calls these doctors to put their professionalism at the disposal of wounded and traumatized people; they themselves go to Palestine, putting their own lives at risk.

to 19, Convent of San Francesco, in Conference Hall Fra Giacomo Bulgaro in Piazzetta San Francesco D'Assisi 3/a, the presentation of the book “ is scheduledAfrica, round trip”, published by Laterza. Thirty young volunteers from Cuamm (University College of Aspiring Missionary Doctors) in the form of a letter tell of journeys, all different, that draw trajectories of outward and return journeys. The meeting involves the involvement of Don Dante Carrara, director of Doctors with Africa Cuamm and will be moderated by Gian Antonio Stella.
