Brescia, here is the musical program for summer 2020

Brescia, this year too in the programming of the "Brescia d'estate - Emozioni live" events, jazz music will be the protagonist thanks to the programming of the "Jazz on the road" festival entitled "Easy to love". Five evenings of great music with concerts that will be held starting from 21.30 pm, in the courtyard of Palazzo Broletto and, in case of bad weather, in the San Barnaba Auditorium in Corso Magenta 44/a.
It starts on Wednesday 8 July with “Reithia”, performed by the quartet composed of Massimiliano Milesi (tenor sax), Francesco Baiguera (guitar), Giulio Corini (double bass) and Filippo Sala (drums).

Two musicians from Brescia and two from Bergamo, symbol of the provinces most affected by the epidemic and now united as Italian capitals of culture for 2023, celebrate Reithia, a divinity from 3500 years ago, a creative goddess, merciful and benevolent and, in ancient cultures, linked to birth, fertility, health and healing.
Simone Graziano will perform on Thursday 9 July “Snailspace”, trio composed of Simone Graziano (piano), Francesco Ponticelli (double bass and synth) and Enrico Morello on drums, who will perform the work defined by the specialist press as one of the best recording projects of 2017, characterized by the search for innovative musical spaces compared to the traditional piano trio .

Friday 10th July will be the turn of concert of the “Perfect trio”, composed of Roberto Gatto (drums), one of the most representative musicians of Italian jazz, Alfonso Santimone (piano and Fender Rhodes) and Pierpaolo Ranieri (electric bass) who will propose experiments and new sounds, leading the audience into the world of electronics and improvisation with a multifaceted show.
On Saturday 11 July Claudio Fasoli will take the stage, in concert with the "London Tube" trio, composed of Claudio Fasoli (tenor and soprano sax), Michele Calgaro (electric guitar) and Gianni Bertoncini: (drums and electronics).
The last event of the festival in the city is scheduled for Sunday 12 July with the performance of the duo formed by Gianluca Petrella (trombone, electronics) and Pasquale Mirra (vibraphone and percussion, electronics) protagonists of a game between melody, rhythm, harmony and electronica with two different acoustic instruments and their respective forays into electronics.

Entrance to the concerts is free while seats last. Reservation is mandatory and will be guaranteed up to 15 minutes before the start of the concerts, then it will be cancelled.
