MICKEY MOUSE AND "THE ADVENTURE OF WINGED MINNIE"
On number 3391 a special story to pay homage to the restoration of the statue of Roman origin which can soon be admired at the Capitolium in Brescia
In issue 3391 available from Wednesday 18 November, in fact, Mickey Mouse celebrates an important restoration: that of the Winged Victory, a fascinating sculpture rich in history that will soon be able to be admired in Brescia, a city that has always welcomed it. Mickey Mouse pays homage to Winged Victory with the story Mickey Mouse and the Adventure of Winged Minnie Mouse, which tells the story of her two-thousand-year-old myth.
In Mickey Mouse and the Adventure of the Winged Minni - written and screenplayed by Roberto Gagnor and illustrated by Valerio Held -, Trudy and Gambadilegno enter the Santa Giulia museum in Brescia to carry out a theft, but remain hostage of an educational hologram that tells the story of the precious Winged Minni and which will take the two thieves on a journey through time, from ancient Greece, passing through Roman times up to the present day, through the stories of the vicissitudes experienced by Nike. Will this "journey through history" be able to stop Trudy and Gambadilegno's evil intentions?
Brescia Musei Foundation and the Municipality of Brescia will donate a copy of Mickey Mouse number 3391 to all the children of primary and nursery schools in Brescia.

“CESARE TREBESCHI. AWARD. THE ART OF THE COMMON GOOD"
The first edition of the “CESARE TREBESCHI. The Art of the Common Good", has as its theme "Sustainability seen by young people" and is aimed at all students of secondary schools in the City of Brescia and the Province of Brescia. The central theme of the competition - which aims to convey to young people and update the values ​​that guided the life of Cesare Trebeschi, politician and administrator - is social responsibility understood as education for the community, for environmental and social sustainability.
The award is promoted by Acque Bresciane, Brescian Artists Association, AIB Foundation, ASM Foundation, Brescia Musei Foundation, Cogeme Foundation, Sipec and Laba Foundation, with the patronage of the Province of Brescia, the municipalities of Brescia and Cellatica and in collaboration with the Provincial school office.
The prizes are e-bikes and purchase vouchers for hi-tech products for individuals, while the schools that have presented the best works will receive purchase vouchers and training experiences offered by the Brescia Musei Foundation and the Laba Academy.

THE “DO THE RIGHT THING” FOUNDATION
Brescia Musei Foundation participates in the new edition of “Do the right thing!” which this year is held only online, the largest national fair for critical consumption and sustainable lifestyles. One hundred events are scheduled from 20 to 29 November 2020, including the section dedicated to children and young people, Fa' la cosa rossa junior, a space that collects video readings dedicated to the little ones. In this virtual space, Fondazione Brescia Musei presents a selection of video workshops "Museums at home!" dedicated to boys and girls aged 7 to 13.

Wednesday 18 November, 18.30 pm, the writer Costantino D'Orazio – author of the book Raffaello. The fabulous young man – talks with the journalist Massimo Tedeschi; he introduces Roberta D'Adda, curator of the Raffaello exhibition. The invention of the divine painter. Stories, anecdotes and background in D'Orazio's book discovering a "private" Raphael through the voice of his friends and traveling companions.

Thursday 19 November, 18.30 pm, the first appointment with the Curator Talk column, with the interview dedicated to Pierre-Alain Croset, curator of the Juan Navarro Baldeweg exhibition. Architecture, painting, sculpture, on display at the Santa Giulia Museum until 5 April.

Friday 20 November, 16.00 pm, the audiovisual column Racconti d'archiva continues. At the origins of the Art Gallery, the archive images of the Civic Museums come to life telling the history of the city, the second appointment is dedicated to the theme "The origins".

Sunday 22 November at 16.00 pm, Museum at home is back, the long-awaited column dedicated to families, with a family workshop "NELLA BOTTEGA DI RAFFAELLO". The column for families that helps them spend their free time pleasantly with their children, carrying out artistic experiments that take inspiration from the masterpieces of the Museums.
This week a virtual walk will lead to the discovery of the great Raphael starting from the exhibition set up in the Santa Giulia Museum, then continuing with the paintings kept in the Tosio Martinengo Pinacoteca, until reaching the divine painter's workshop.

New Eden – Breakfast with the critic: Eastern European cinema
After the focus on Eastern European cinema on the streaming channel with six films selected by the Trieste Film Festival, the Nuovo Eden cinema returns with an unmissable online event hosted by the critic Nicola Falcinella, “Breakfast with the critic: the cinema of Eastern Europe 'East". From 10.00 to 11.30, the film critic and journalist from L'Eco di Bergamo and the Balcani Caucaso Observatory will hold an important online meeting to delve deeper into the most interesting aspects of a cinema that is too little known to the Western public.
