Brescia: from Wednesday 18th to Sunday 22nd September the exhibition “Travelling on the tracks of the past” dedicated to the history of the Italian State Railways will be open to visitors
The exhibition will be open to visitors from Wednesday 18th to Sunday 22nd September 2024 from 10am to 12.30pm and from 15pm to 17pm. Admission will be free and open to all citizens.
Brescia: from Wednesday 18 to Sunday 22 September the exhibition “Traveling on the Tracks of the Past” dedicated to the history of the Italian State Railways will be open to visitors.
Wednesday 18 September, in viale della Stazione 90, at presence of the Deputy Mayor with responsibility for mobility policies Federico Manzoni comes the exhibition “Travelling on the tracks of the past” has been inaugurated.
The exhibition, organized and curated by the Amatori del Mondo Ferroviario association and included in the rich program of initiatives promoted as part of the European Mobility Week 2024 sponsored by the Municipality of Brescia, aims to be an occasion to celebrate the 170th anniversary of the opening of the Brescia Railway Station.
It will also be an opportunity to see memorabilia up close and historical objects of the railway world, as well as period and contemporary photographs, to retrace together the history of the State Railways, from its origins to the present day.
The exhibition, for the occasion, was set up in the spaces of the Railway Station (the building in front of the exit of the Metro FS Station), kindly made available by the RFI Stations Management, and also organised thanks to the collaboration of the Dopolavoro Ferroviario association – DLF Brescia and Italian Tourist Railways FTI
The exhibition will be open from Wednesday 18th to Sunday 22nd September 2024 from 10 to 12.30 and from 15 to 17. Admission will be free and open to all citizens.
