The Marche towards the digital future: second appointment, in Senigallia, to discuss ultra-broadband and digital levers for economic development.

Second stop of the tour “Ultra-wide band, digital and innovation: levers for the economic development of the territory”. After the appointment in Ascoli Piceno last week, the Marche Region, Confindustria Ancona and Anci Marche are promoting a meeting at the Rotonda a Mare in Senigallia, Thursday 14 March, starting from 10.00 am. The state of progress of Ultra Broadband in the municipalities will be discussed, the results of the main projects of the Agenda for the Digital Transformation of the Marche region already completed will be shared, and the new regional strategic initiatives deriving from the PNRR and the new ERDF programming will be illustrated.

“On ultra-broadband we are recording important progress, because we have now covered almost 90 percent of the planned interventions – states the Councilor for Digitalisation Andrea Maria Antonini – We are also intervening on other fronts to place the Marche at the center of an innovation process capable of making the entire territory, including the internal areas, increasingly connected and competitive through the digitalisation of services. The discussions started in Ascoli and the next one in Senigallia will serve to take stock of the objectives set and the results achieved".

The meeting, at the Rotonda a Mare, will be attended, together with councilor Antonini, by Pierluigi Bocchini, president of Confindustria Ancona, the director of the Economic Development department Stefania Bussoletti and the manager of the Digital Transition and IT sector Serena Carota. Representatives of Anci Marche, Confindustria Ancona and local trade associations will also speak.

The event, aimed in particular at businesses and public administrations, will be theopportunity to stimulate discussion between participants, also regarding the synergies that digitalisation is able to create between the sectors involved.

It will also be an important opportunity for comparison for the planning of the Municipalities, relating to the 'Integrated Digital Services' call for PR FESR 21/27. The tender provided for a financial allocation of 7.000.000 euros, of which one million reserved for the Municipalities included in the regional list of historic villages in the Marche. The proposals presented far exceeded the expected budget, demonstrating the great interest of the area, and it is the department's intention to cover the implementation of all local projects eligible for funding.

It is possible to participate in the events by registering and booking available places at the link: https://www.regione.marche.it/registrazione-eventi.
