The 2024 edition is particularly important because the “Festa di San Martino 2024” has received a contribution from the Liguria Region as it is recognized as a historical and traditional event present in the area for more than 25 years. An important recognition that repays the efforts that the Pro Loco together with the entire Biassea Community puts in place every year to realize the event and promote the area.

"The Feast of San Martino has been recognized by the Liguria Region as a historical and traditional event and this represents recognition for the work carried out in recent years by the Pro Loco, but also the importance of the commitment of an entire community in promoting its traditions, ancient crafts and typical products. - declares Mayor Pierluigi Peracchini - As an Administration we are convinced that to build the future we must not forget our history and our cultural roots, a precious heritage to be preserved and protected, and we have created many significant projects in this sense such as La Spezia Forte, which brought to light and returned to the city the Batteria Valdilocchi, the Parco delle Mura, the Galleria Quintino Sella, the former Convent of the Poor Clares, historical sites forgotten for decades that today are available to everyone again, but also created or supported many initiatives that tell our past."

"We have always believed in the added value that the Pro Loco bring to the territory. The Administration has always and wholeheartedly supported the Pro Loco who work all year round with great commitment and for this they must be thanked. The Councilor for Tourism Maria Grazia Frijia declared - In March 2022 we signed a specific agreement with the Pro Loco of the territory precisely to provide adequate resources and implement forms of collaboration to facilitate the work that is carried out every day and which represents an important element of promotion and enhancement of the territory of their competence from the historical-cultural, social, environmental and typical local products point of view.
