Bari, the ASI Befana returns tomorrow with gifts and socks for the little ones from car and motorbike lovers
As part of the national tour organized by Historic Italian Automotoclub (ASI) with the patronage of the Municipality of Bari - Department of Economic Development, and now in its sixth edition this year, the Old Cars Club and the Porsche Club Puglia have organized the car and motorbike rally tomorrow, Saturday 6 January “The Befana of the ASI”,
Many enthusiasts, in dress Santa Claus and Befana, aboard their historic cars and motorbikes, they will bring gifts and socks to the little ones to give them a moment of joy and lightheartedness. The meeting is scheduled for 9 am at Mc Donald's Bari, on the ring road in viale Europa 3/C, as it is a partner of the event.
The Councilor for Economic Development will participate in the initiative Carla Palone.
“For the sixth consecutive year – recalls councilor Carla Palone – the associations actively support the collection of gifts for the "ASI Befana". Thanks to their commitment, and the generous contribution of the citizens who purchased and donated food, it was possible to make this precious donation for many children."
“Tomorrow, on the day of the Epiphany, historic motorsport shines again thanks to the first solidarity initiative of 2024 – declares the president of the Old Cars Club and national president of ASI Solidale Antonio Durso -: dozens of ASI federated clubs from all over Italy, in fact, actively participate by collecting food and gifts for people and families in difficulty. This event allows many enthusiasts the opportunity to offer tangible support to those who need it most."
“The members of our Club – comments the president of Porsche Club Puglia Alessandro Adriani – stand out for their commitment in the field of solidarity, helping to bring joy and hope to children and families in difficult times, perpetuating a meritorious tradition."
Among the collaborations established by ASI Solidarity at national level, of note is the one with the Teniamoci per mano non-profit association, which since 2010 has been taking care of suffering children, families and elderly people through the beneficial effects of clown therapy.
Below is the staged route planned for tomorrow morning:
- first stop (10 am): family home of the cooperative We work together, in Bari Vecchia, in via Santa Teresa delle Donne 8
- second stage (around 11 am): parish of Sant'Antonio, in Piazzetta Sant'Antonio
- third (around 12pm): In.Con.Tra association, in via Barisano da Trani 15, at San Paolo.
The snake of cars and motorbikes will cross the streets of the city center immediately after the first stage.
