Bari, Palamartino HUB: presentation of the sports project for social inclusion at Palazzo di Città

Today, Friday 19 January, at 10.30 am, in the lounge Town Hall council, the presentation of the sports project for social inclusion Palamartino HUB, winner of the national tender promoted by the Department for Youth Policies and Universal Civil Service and Sport and Health “Civic Community Spaces” (so-called Play District).

The initiative, conceived by the Duma sports club, which manages the municipal sports facility, is aimed at supporting social innovation paths focused on sports practice which involve the creation and strengthening of civic spaces by promoting youth protagonism thanks to individual and collective empowerment processes.

During the project, which lasts two years, sports activities will be organized free of charge at the Palamartino skateboarding and parkour, as well as collateral activities of photography, modeling, individual and group coaching as well as seminars on correct lifestyles and training activities on the management of sports facilities.

At the meeting with the press the councilor at Sport Pietro Petruzzelli, the administrator of DUMA ssd and project manager Saverio Fortunato, the regional coordinator Puglia Sport and Health Francesco Toscano, the federal skateboard technician and regional delegate Action Fisr Fabiano Lauciello, the parkour coach and contact person for Activita ssd Antonio Calefato, the representative of the Barese Modeling center Annamaria Cappelluti and the coordinator of the socio-educational day center I Ragazzi di Don Bosco Jaqueline Pinto.
