Bari, food and wine tourism marketing: today the presentation of the ITST Academy course
Today, October 23, the Councilor for Tourism Pietro Petruzzelli presented in Bari the course in Management, Marketing and Communication of Food and Wine Tourism, organized by the Its Academy foundation, for the two-year period 2024/2026, intended for those who wish to specialize in the sector.

Today, Wednesday 23 October at 10.00 in the council room of the Town Hall, the municipal councillor for Tourism, Pietro Petruzzelli, participated in the presentation of the course in Management, Marketing and Communication of Food and Wine Tourism, organized in Bari by the Itst Academy Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Puglia foundation for the two-year period 2024/2026.
Its offers higher education courses funded by the Ministry of Education, accessible to students with a high school diploma, undergraduates, graduates or professionals and operators in the sector who wish to specialize, without age limits.
The four courses (three in Bari and one in Conversano) they last two years, with 1120 hours of laboratory teaching, active and experiential which includes educational and study visits, project work, with 880 hours of internship, study experiences and internships abroad.
The aim of the course is to train experts capable of programming, managing, promoting and marketing, also through mastery of digital tools and 4.0 technologies, experiences focused on a deep knowledge of local food and wine, integrating the restaurant offering with the local food supply chains, enhancing excellence and typicality and encouraging the development of stable supply, relationship and promotion methods.
Also speaking at the press conference were the general director ITS Academy Turismo Puglia Walter Margiotta, the course coordinator Pierfelice Rosato and Giuseppe Abbracciavento, Director of Una Hotel Regina di Noicattaro and partner of the project.
