Bari, fight against eating disorders: the city of Bari joins the Lilac Bow campaign

Bari, Monday 15 March, on the occasion of the third National Day for the fight against eating disorders, the municipal administration joins the Fiocchetto lilac campaign and, responding to the request for Never Give Up onlus and ANCI, will light up the fountain in Piazza Moro in lilac to raise public awareness of these disorders which in Italy alone affect 2.665.000 adolescents struggling with problems relating to food, weight and body image.

In fact, eating disorders represent the leading cause of death among adolescents, and the current pandemic situation has unfortunately aggravated the discomfort of many very young people.
