Bari, XXVI Day of Remembrance and Commitment in memory of the innocent victims of the mafia

Bari, Saturday 20 March, the association "Libera - Names and numbers against the mafia", in collaboration with the city of Bari and Notice Pubblico, organizes the XXVI National Day of Remembrance and Commitment in memory of the victims of the mafia.

The slogan of the day, "To remember and see the stars again", contextualizes the current emergency by linking the memory of the victims to the places of culture that have been closed for a year now.

To underline the value of culture as a fundamental ingredient in the fight against every form of social deviance, a spark of memory and social commitment, the event will be held in front of the Petruzzelli Theater - in Largo Candida Stella - where a stage will be set up to allow the reading of the names of mafia victims which will be announced by the families of innocent victims of the mafia, by institutional figures, magistrates, representatives of associations, students and exponents of the world of culture and entertainment.

The event will take place in compliance with the current anti-Covid legislation.
