Bafta 2024: the atomic night of "Oppenheimer", takes home 7 awards.
Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan's latest biopic on the father of the atomic bomb triumphed in London BAFTA 2024, the highest awards in Anglo-Saxon cinema and a crucial indication towards the Oscars. Nolan's jewel won seven statuettes starting with best film, and then in the categories of best director and best actor (Cillian Murphy) and best supporting actor (Robert Downey Jr.). Best Actress Emma Stone for “Poor Creatures!” by Yorgos Lanthimos, Golden Lion in Venice. Great success also for “The Zone of Interest” by jonathan glazer it won, among other things, best English film and best non-English language film, while “20 Days in Maryupol” was best documentary and “The Boy and the Heron” by Hayao Miyazaki for animation.
