At the Teatro Sociale “Don Giovanni” will open the season of great shows.

Sondrio. The great work inaugurates a rich calendar of appointments at the Teatro Socialand: Friday 6 October, at 20pm, the Terre Verdiane Symphony Orchestra and the Parma Opera Choir will perform on stage theDon Giovanni" di Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. An opera in two acts, born from the collaboration between Mozart and Lorenzo Da Ponte, which is almost 250 years since its debut it never ceases to excite. Considered one of the Austrian composer's masterpieces, it tells the story of don giovanni, a noble knight who goes from conquest to conquest, from a court lady to a peasant, resorting to deception. With him the servant Leporello forced to witness his master's follies. The event was promoted by the Municipality with the support of Banca Popolare di Sondrio. «The choice of Don Giovanni is motivated by the fact that this playful drama is notoriously loved by the public for its dramatic intensity but also for its modernity – underlines the councilor for Culture, Education and Instruction Marcella Fratta -. Opera is an important tradition to perpetuate, not only for the adult public who already knows and appreciates it but also for the new generations who we hope will be able to approach it, since we believe in the educational value of these musical worlds."
