At the Teatro delle Muse in Ancona "A Christmas Carol" is on stage with Roberto Ciufoli
Arrives in Ancona at Theater of the Muses Thursday 21 December A Christmas Carol The musical of the Compagnia dell'Alba with Roberto Ciufoli in the role of Scrooge.
The story of Charles Dickens is proposed in its theatrical version, for the first time in Italy with the music and songs of Alan Menken (author of Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and many other successes), with the direction and choreography of Fabrizio Angelini and the musical direction of Gabriele de Guglielmo, who makes use of the collaboration of Monja Marrone.
It's Christmas Eve in London in 1843, and everyone is preparing to celebrate the occasion. Only the old usurer Ebenezer Scrooge can't stand this holiday, and after closing his shop he goes alone to his home. During the night he receives a visit from three spirits: that of Christmas Past, that of Christmas Present and that of Christmas Future, who, between flashbacks and premonitions, will manage to change his mean and selfish nature. Scrooge will wake up on Christmas morning with the awareness that the greed for money and the attachment to only material things are wrong: finally charity and brotherhood will make their way into the heart of the old usurer, who will spend Christmas for the first time with his nephew Christmas with his nephew Fred and his family.
