Chieti: The “Sirene” exhibition by artist Pierluca Cetera at the Barbella Museum.
The national premiere of the exhibition will be held from 2 May to 3 June at the “Costantino Barbella” Museum in Chieti “Mermaids” of the Artist Pierluca Cetera, catalog edited by Massimo Pamio, sponsored by the Municipal Administration of Chieti, by the Department of Culture and by the Management of the Barbella Museum, as part of the Maggio Teatino.
The most recent production by the teacher of the Academy of Fine Arts of Bari will be exhibited, which reinterprets and updates the myth of the sirens, depicting nudes with lenticular eyes of young adolescents caught in the transition phase towards youth. Readings by the actress Antonella De Collibus, musical interludes by the Moonflowers, (Loris Mantini, keyboards, Giulia Martino, vocals, Tommaso D'Onofrio, violin, Thomas D'Emilio, bass, Matteo Basciano, percussion, Fabio Di Francescantonio, guitar), institutional greetings from Mayor Diego Ferrara and Deputy Mayor Paolo De Cesare.
