Calcit returns with a bang: sixty-eighth children's market, twenty-eighth Mercatino in concert music festival, twentieth Gianfranco Barulli competition and first Mercatino in banda review

All ready, under the artistic direction of Greta Palazzini, For the music festival Market in concert, within which the competition entitled a Gianfranco Barulli, founder of Calcit, celebrates his twentieth anniversary while a parade of musical bands is planned during the children's market.

From Thursday 19th, here is the twentieth competition entitled to Gianfranco Barulli with the grand finale at the Petrarca Theater scheduled for Monday 23 May at 17pm, with the professor as president of the jury Claudio Santori, with the presentation of the Calcit Orchestra composed of well-known Arezzo musicians directed by maestro Carmelo Giallombardo and numerous prizes.

In addition to the first overall prize offered by the painter Paola Bartolini, the Best School, Best Teacher and other special awards will be awarded: the Gianfranco Barulli prize to the most promising of category A (up to 10 years) offered by the sculptor Sandro Ricci; the Italo Marconi award for those who perform with multiple instruments; the Dicembrini prize to the most promising of the finalists offered by the painter Federica Mauro; the Combinata prize for those who participate as soloists and ensemble musicians; The Silvano Grandi prize for the most exciting performance; the City of Arezzo award, now in its fifth edition, offered to residents by the municipal administration and the sculptor Alexander Brown. It will consist of a sculpture and a subscription to the Petrarca Theater for the 2022/23 season.
