Arezzo, appointment at the University with the "Dialogues" around Fabrizio De André.
They continue to Arezzo the meetings open to citizens of the "University in the city" cycle.
“Dialogues around Fabrizio De André” is the title of the event which will be held on 13 April at 17.30 pm in the former Goods Exchange Hall (piazza Risorgimento 23) in Arezzo. Alessandra Carbone and Gianluigi Negro, professors of the University of Siena at the Arezzo branch, will dialogue with Simone Zacchini, author of "The philosophy of Fabrizio De André".
The philosophy of Fabrizio De André
Philosophy, at times, takes strange paths to bring its critical gaze among people. A song lasting just a few minutes and a few verses can be enough to find ourselves in a vortex of thought that takes our breath away, making our certainties and our truths dangerously waver. Fabrizio De André has written many of these songs, new looks at the world that teach us new forms of existence, new emotional landscapes, new relationships with others. This book traces its essential features, touching on the themes of life and death, love and otherness, power and religion.
A path that reaches the borders of our culture to courageously take leave of it, tracing a new return to myth, a new universe of meaning, a complete rewriting of ancestral meanings such as those of the feminine and the masculine.
Research for girls and boys
The cycle continues on April 19th with “Unisi Young. Research for girls and boys" an event promoted by the Educational Sciences group of the Department of Social, Political and Cognitive Sciences (Arezzo branch). The event is aimed at girls and boys of all ages, interested in understanding how research can help interpret the world of work and society in an informed way.
Unisi Young's activities will begin at Informagiovani (piazza S. Agostino, Arezzo) in the morning, with tinkering, making and coding workshops aimed at schools and in the afternoon open to all citizens. How can I combine what I study with what I will do at work? What jobs will there be in 2050? What skills do I need to develop? Why is it so difficult to become an engineer, biologist, computer scientist? The workshops combine knowledge and fun to address an important topic such as "what job will I do when I grow up?"
In the evening Unisi Young moves to Piazza San Francesco at the “Terra di Piero” venue for the presentation of the book: “Understanding radicalization in everyday life”. The authors, Loretta Fabbri and Claudio Melacarne, will present the thesis proposed in the book; that of considering how our daily actions are limited by beliefs that lead us to choose a neighborhood in which to live, a school to attend, friendships to maintain. Micro radicalization goes beyond the concept of violent radicalization and explains how we all have filters with which we analyze society in a polarized way.
