Arezzo, “Un Consiglio Musicale” rock with Cantachimere and Francesco De Prizio
The evenings continue “A Musical Council”, the series of acoustic concerts in the splendid setting of the Arezzo City Council hall. From jazz played by the students of the Petrarca musical high school to the rock of Cantachimere and Francesco De Prizio who will perform on Thursday 1st February from 21 pm.
For Cantachimere, stage name of Andrea Giustini, it will be the first official live performance after the publication of the song and video clip by “This is the evening”, song about the evening of propitiatory dinners on the eve of the Giostra del Saracino.
“It will be an opportunity not only to listen to “Cosa è la sera” live, but also to my other unreleased songs. I will also perform some 'recovers', as I call them, that is, covers of songs that have been heavily reinterpreted, so much so that they seem like different songs. In particular I will play my version of “Whole Lotta Love” by Led Zeppelin”, Giustini said.
Francesco De Prizio instead he already has numerous concerts behind him. Born in 2002, he dedicates himself daily to two great passions, on the one hand medicine, which he studies profitably at the University of Bologna, and on the other music. In particular the blues and rock ones of the great and unrepeatable 70s. For the evening of February 1st he will sing and play a repertoire of historical rock songs in an acoustic version, accompanied by a Yamaha. These will be covers, but not performed in a "standard" way. De Prizio has also composed several original songs, both instrumental and including lyrics (in English), which are just waiting to be published.
“I started with acoustic because it's great for learning to play guitar. At the beginning I had a more folk and country repertoire. Then I approached blues and a little rock, and from there I also moved on to electric. My current genre is 70s blues/rock. I play Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath. But also lighter rock like Dire Straits, up to the Latin-rock of Santana. For this concert I chose to bring covers that were a little reinterpreted and not distorted, but with a minimum of personality. For example I will play “Thank You” by Led Zeppelin, which came out on the same album as “Whole Lotta Love”. It is a particular and 'delicate' song compared to the rest of the album." said De Prizio.
“A Musical Council” is in its second edition, it is organized by the Presidency of the Arezzo City Council in collaboration with the president of the culture and tourism commission Ilaria Pugi. The next appointment is scheduled Thursday 22 February with a performance by Roberto Rossi.
