It's Manga time: a Milano at the LaFeltrinelli headquarters in Corso Buenos Aires a day dedicated entirely to manga.

The mega Lounge located inside the bookshop lafeltrinelli being defined. Buenos Aires has forty square meters that host the artistic interventions created specifically by theEuropean Manga Academy: illustrations reproducing typical Japanese settings to decorate the walls of the Lounge, inside which there are: gashpon, i.e. the machines that distribute balls containing mini action figures of the most famous Manga, the exhibitors of Funko Pop, the famous collectible vinyl figurines, a large bibliographic offering of 3.500 manga titles among the "classics" such as Dragonball, My Hero Academy and One Piece plus a selection of sports-inspired manga such as Spokon, Bluelock, The Climber, Dash Kappei, Haikyuu!, Kuroko Basket, Rocky Joe to name just a few.

It's Manga Time! It kicks off Saturday 4 March at 11.30 with the masterclass “Manga: the ninth art of Japan” di Asuka Ozumi, translator and teacher for Feltrinelli Education of a course on manga and editorial work, which leads participants on a journey through the varied world of Japanese comics: from spokon al gekiga, from horror to historical dramas.

We continue at 15.30 hours with the laboratory of dubbing together with Emanuela pacotto e Renato Novara, voices of One Piece, Pokémon and Dragonball who will hold a meeting on the world of anime.

Finally, at 18.30 Bao Publishing and Yamamoto Gastronomy organize a workshop on curiosities and cultural differences linked to the world of oriental cuisine, inspired by The Midnight Tavern.

It's Manga Time falls under the scope of FANTASYLAND, the initiative dedicated to the fantastic worlds that Librerie Feltrinelli explores until 9th April through a lively schedule of events organized in partnership with Lucca Comics & Games, the most significant community event in Europe.

Among the guests protagonists of the calendar of initiatives that will animate the bookshops of the main Italian cities: the writer Licia Troisi, author of the fantasy series set in the Emerged World, out with “Poe and the Dragon Slayer” (Rizzoli), the authors Jacopo Starace, Roberto Recchioni, Cecilia Randall and Moony Witcher. And again, many special projects like the Blackwater Night, scheduled simultaneously in various Feltrinelli bookshops in Italy 27 March or even the eve of the release of Rain, the latest book in the McDowell saga recently published by BEAT Neri Pozza, and, for role-playing game enthusiasts, the themed game sessions Dungeons and Dragons, which will take place from 22nd to 28th March from 16.00pm to 20.00pm in various Feltrinelli bookshops in Italy on the occasion of the film's release on the big screen «Dungeons and Dragons – Thieves' Honor».
