Ancona: Second edition of “Ancona Barocca”, concerts and cultural meetings

From September 20th to November 30th at the Church of Gesù and Palazzo Ferretti, the “A Lanari” Foundation proposes again “Ancona Barocca”, the prestigious event which in its second edition presents concerts, meetings and the international Baroque Violin competition; attention is focused on the territory and on specific topics, with the title “Universo Ancona: excellent heritage and roots to be enhanced” that he will face topics which will range from Drama to the Music, From Painting to the Culture.

“Baroque Ancona”- underlines the Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of Ancona, Anna Maria Bertini - It is among the projects accredited by the Municipal Administration, through participation in the notice for the expression of interest of the Municipality. In addition to the artistic and cultural value, which focuses on the Baroque, has the merit of involving spaces of great value such as Palazzo Ferretti and the Church of Gesù, the city's cultural heritage, making them accessible to citizens".

Competition

The Competition is characterized by the Baroque Violin Award “Tartini in Ancona”, which enhances and exalts the bond between the City and the musician. The President of the Jury is Maestro Federico Guglielmo, a world-famous concert pianist and absolute Tartini specialist.
