Ancona: health starts from the brain, Ale and Franz on stage at the Teatro delle Muse.

On the occasion of the Extra G7 Health, October 6, 2024 at 18:00 PM at the Teatro delle Muse in Ancona, comedians Ale and Franz will be the protagonists of an interview-show dedicated to the topic of mental health.

The event is promoted by Lundbeck Italia, a pharmaceutical company specialized in neuroscience which, for its 30th anniversary of activities in our country, has decided to join forces with the world of culture, entertainment and institutions, to bring this priority issue back to the attention of the general public.

The comedy of the actors, combined with the scientific knowledge of experts, will allow an open dialogue on mental health: a universal right to be safeguarded and promoted.

The evening, sponsored by the Municipality of Ancona, is part of the national project Everyone4mentalHealth created by the Rete Città Sane Nazionale OMS, a shared platform that collects the initiatives and actions that Municipalities, associations, and businesses will carry out in October 2024 on mental health. The event is part of “Extra G7 Health”, over 50 events throughout the city organized by the Municipality of Ancona in collaboration with institutions and associations from the world of healthcare, scheduled from 3 to 13 October on the occasion of the G7 Health.

During the event, Ale and Franz, one of the longest-running and most beloved comic duos among the Italian public, will bring the theme of mental well-being to the stage with their unmistakable style, mixing irony and reflection.

The play will include stories taken from testimonies of patients of the former Paolo Pini Psychiatric Hospital in Milano and their famous sketch “The Bench”: an opportunity to reflect and break down the prejudices that still surround this topic.

Before the interview-show, an introductory talk aimed at making people understand how mental health is a priority for each of us, will see the participation of various personalities: Alberto Siracusano, Coordinator of the Mental Health Technical Table of the Ministry of Health; Lamberto Bertolé, President of the WHO National Healthy Cities Network; Daniele Silvetti, Mayor of Ancona and Tiziana Mele, CEO of Lundbeck Italia.
