Ancona Comics&Games at Palarossini, a large number of fans expected in the city.

A huge number of fans and cosplayers from all over Italy are expected in the city for the 13 and the 14 April, on the occasion of the fourth edition of Ancona Comics&Games which will take place at Palarossini – PalaPrometeo Estra (10am-19pm).

The event, organized by Fiere del Fumetto, is sponsored by the Municipality of Ancona and will be the meeting point for beginners, lovers of video games, illustrations, comics, figurines, gadgets, cosplay and TV history.

The statements

"We are pleased – states the deputy mayor and councilor for Sport Giovanni Zinni – to host this event in Ancona which will certainly be of great attraction. It is an event that combines the recreational-sporting dimension with the cultural one of the new generations, without forgetting the historical roots, which take us back to the world of TV, comics, games that have belonged and belong across many generations ”.

"Once again – states the councilor for Tourism and sports facilities Daniele Berardinelli – we will have the opportunity to promote the welcoming spirit of our city and we will also be able to do so thanks to the versatility of the Palarossini, a sports venue which over time has demonstrated that it can also be a valid meeting point for other types of events, both musical and cultural and trade fairs. This event will also serve to increase the tourist visibility of our city."

The guests

Guests of the 2024 edition will be Cristina D'Avena, Pino Insegno, Giovanni Muciaccia, Danilo Bertazzi and Elisa Rosselli, but the program, say the organizers, will also be full of surprises. The animation of BHC COSPLAY will take care of all the panels on the main stage and the meet&greets that will be held after each show.

Experiences and events

With the aim of Ancona Comics&Games there is also the desire to offer the public a series of active experiences: throughout the weekend, in collaboration with 8 Bit Inside and Ak Informatica by P&C Computer, it will be possible to try next generation video games and consoles with the best titles for free, and to the test with multiple e-sports, as well as taking a trip among vintage consoles.

Gaming and sports associations will be present at the event and will also allow you to try new board games.

A space will be dedicated to KOREAN POP, Edited by KST – KPOP SHOW TIME. The AIFA COSPLAY photo stands will also be present and the photo booth will take place on Sunday 14 April COSPLAY COMPETITION with prizes, for which registration is already open.

The market exhibition

The market exhibition will offer the best Italian stands where you can find Action Figures, Limited Editions, Funko Pops, themed clothing, comics, video games, DVDs and much more.

Tickets

Online presale is already active for the purchase of entrance tickets.

The cost of the daily ticket is 10 euros (purchase at the cash desk 14 euros). The subscription for the two days costs 18 euro. Free entry for children up to six years old.

Tickets will be available at the cash desk until the event closes.

The Manifest

The poster for the 2024 edition was created by Vincenzo Cucca, professional cartoonist and illustrator for Disney and Marvel, teacher at the International School of Comics in Pescara. The colorist of the poster is Maria Cristina Federico, aka Marycry, who with Cucca worked on a series of three issues of Bitter Dream for the Interweb Comics. Both will be guests of the event throughout the weekend and it will be possible to meet them in the DADA Editore area for copy signing.
