These are the objectives at the centre of the third meeting of the European project TOURBO 'Boosting the transition pathway of MSMEs in tourism with green and digital transformation' funded within the framework of the Interreg Europe programme, which sees the official visit to the Marche on 24 and 25 September of a large international delegation composed of around forty institutional representatives, entrepreneurs, university researchers and consultants expert in innovation and in the digital transition 4.0 of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the tourism sector.

The goal is promote meetings between entrepreneurs from the Marche region and experts from other countries project partners to network and participate in the call launched by the Marche Region with the technical and operational support of the in-house company SVEM – Sviluppo Europa Marche, which sees the provision of vouchers of up to 8 thousand euros for innovative projects on the topics of environmental sustainability and digital technologies for tourism.

The two-day event in fact includes a series of meetings between local tour operators and selected experts by the organizations involved to identify a partner with whom to build a cutting-edge project idea thanks to the potential offered by smart technologies combined with an ecological approach. Five will be selected, which will receive the contribution to fully cover the service.

To inaugurate the works, on Tuesday 24th September, at the Seeport Hotel in Ancona, a technical meeting between the partners will be held in the presence of the regional councillor for the Budget Godfrey Brandoni. The meetings between operators and experts will begin at 15.30:25 pm, at the headquarters of the Conero Park in Sirolo and will continue on Wednesday 10.30 September in the morning, at 16.30:XNUMX am, at the Museum of Art History Territory in Genga and in the afternoon, at XNUMX:XNUMX pm, at the Casal Farneto winery in Serra de' Conti.

The project TOURBO was launched in March 2023 and will end in February 2027. The partnership includes organisations from eight different European countries, including the Seville Chamber of Commerce (Spain) – Coordinating Body, the Marche Region (Italy), the North Aegean Region (Greece), the Bremen Tourist Board (Germany), the Lapland University of Applied Sciences (Finland), the Vraca Chamber of Commerce (Bulgaria), the Koprivnica and Križevci Region (Croatia) and the Province of Donegal (Ireland).
