In Sassari 5 parenting support meetings.

The Territorial Pedagogical Coordination of Sassari organizes a parenting support program for families of children aged 0 to 6: the age in which the foundations for the future of the person are laid and during which it is possible to contribute to preventing and reducing adolescent problems.

It will be developed in 5 meetings, starting from October 2nd, which will be held in the Langiu room of the Local Police Command from 14.30pm to 16.15pm or from 16.45pm to 18.30pm.
Organised by the Municipality of Sassari as the leading body of the Integrated System 0-6, the course, entitled “Between emotion and reason – The method of emotional dialogue in the educational relationship” and curated by the pedagogist Lorenzo Braina, aims to support the educational relationship between parent and child through a reflection on one's ability to manage emotional and socio-relational experiences.

"It is important to reflect on the care and needs of this time and try to accompany parents in their search for adequate answers," explains Braina.
It starts on October 2nd with “The time has come: separation from parents and insertion into educational contexts (nursery, infant, primary)” to continue on October 29th with “Educating about emotions and their management: are there negative emotions or experiences that should be avoided?”. In November there will be two more meetings: on November 13th with “Rules, exceptions, tantrums and quarrels: understanding, management in everyday life” and on the 27th with the meeting entitled “It was born this way: The mother's gaze and the father's embrace in the formation of character”. Finally, on December 4th there will be the last meeting “Family Stories: Family Dynamics in Child Care.”
If places are available, the meetings will also be open to educators and teachers of the 0-6 Services in the area.
