Verona: “Altro Teatro/City” returns to the stage from 24 October at the Camploy Theatre.

From October 24 at the Camploy Theater all the original creativity of the Veronese professionals active in live entertainment is on stage. He is born Other Theatre/City, the new event promoted by the Municipality and organized by the Rete Spettacolo Verona Professionisti – RSVP, in collaboration with Arteven, the body responsible for the entire program of L'Altro Teatro.

A special team. The best productions of 14 city entertainment companies will perform on stage, who have decided to network to intertwine paths, poetics, artistic choices and at the same time differences.
Thus Altro Teatro/City came to life which, right from the title, evokes a strong connection with the billboard of national professional colleagues passing through Camploy Theater, found in “City” the term that best expresses the aspect of the city and the fact that the production of the shows originates and is proposed in Verona.
A new proposal that also turns its attention to the youngest, with events dedicated to teenagers and children, in the strong belief that it is from this type of proposal that the audience of the future begins to be built.

“L'Altro Teatro/City represents 14 professional realities – explains the Councilor for Culture Marta Ugolini – who have been working in the area for years with a strong creative ferment in favor of the city. The nature of the Verona Professionisti Entertainment Network has thus chosen to show itself to the public with a new series proposed on the stage of the Camploy theatre. A new proposal in the direction of a path of change that aims to increase and broaden the choice and quality of Veronese cultural projects".

The review was presented yesterday morning by the Councilor for Culture Marta Ugolini together with the artistic director of the Municipality's entertainment Carlo Mangolini. Some of the representatives of the Entertainment Professionals Network for Verona were present, Andrea de Manincor, Andrea Castelletti, Stefano Scherini, Isabella Caserta, Lorenzo Bassotto and Laura Corradi.
“For many years – he highlights Carlo Mangolini – this type of project has been attempted but only now, for the first time, the Camploy Theater finds itself hosting a structured event, created by a network of local entertainment companies that have been operating in the area and beyond for years. A unified design that highlights the richness of the city's proposals, because it brings together many different genres of entertainment in a high-quality program”.

“A network that – he explained Andrea de Manincor, representing all the realities of Altro Teatro/City -, in the individual production units, has been known for years for the creation of shows, reviews, workshops, participation in and creation of festivals, with the management of spaces for entertainment and training, in the belief that art and culture can and must be fully recognized as professional fields, professions to which one dedicates one's entire existence. Hence the desire to establish a network, to dialogue and discuss artistic differences, to make one's cultural proposal ever better".

First appointments scheduled. The curtain rises October 24th with the show “Woodstock Rewind”, by Fucina Culturale Machiavelli, written and directed by Sara Meneghetti, with Lorenzo Bassotto, Jessica Grossule, Giuditta Cestari, Stefano Soardo and Nicola Rossin: old hippies and young activists will compete with rock and ecological commitment in a theatrical and musical show, in the wake of the historic Woodstock concert.

Space for dance November 7 with Chiara Frigo, creator and performer of the solo “Matryoshka", presented in the form of a study: celebration of a passage, of the event that characterizes each transition phase of an individual, the Matryoshka is a sort of magic circle, which opens with a piece called "mother" and closes with one called “seed”.
