“The Friends of Music Society is one of the pillars of musical culture in our city – said the councilor Pietro Trincanato -. This year's proposal is very interesting and is aimed at young people thinking about the relationship between them and classical music, a topic that our city absolutely must address. This is why the Administration supports these initiatives, with the hope that, beyond the season, closer relationships will also be developed with our schools, music high schools and the Conservatory".
“We try to do our best to bring especially great musicians to Verona – he stated Oreste Ghedini -. Unfortunately, the musical culture has deteriorated a bit, but we hope that the institutions can continue to support us."
“It will be a season that will see well-known musicians alongside emerging and young people of great quality – he explained Romildo Grion -. Nowadays young musicians are very well prepared, but there is a large drop in youth attendance at live concerts, which is why we will need systemic action from everyone, from institutions to the media".
