News not to be missed

Sunday 28th of April visits to the civic museums resume combined with the traditional dinghy descent along the river proposed by Adige Rafting. It will be possible to visit the Castelvecchio Museum, the Archaeological Museum at the Roman Theater and the Natural History Museum with excursions until June 29th, reachable from some fixed stops on the river route. We start on Sunday with the first stop at the Natural History Museum.
The excursion corresponds to the city stretch of the Adige (8,5 km), starting from the new center of excellence for river sports in Chievo, in front of the cycle path, and arriving at the Boschetto al stables in the Galtarossa area. Safety and accessibility at Juliet's House

From tomorrow, Wednesday 24 April to Sunday 5 May, in anticipation of an increase in tourist presences, access to the Courtyard and Juliet's House will be from the Teatro Nuovo in Piazzetta Navona, while the exit will be on Via Cappello.

Entrance to the Amphitheater costs 3 euros and closes early on 4 and 5 May for set-ups

Until May 5th, coinciding with the restoration work on the monument and the setting up of the structures necessary for the opera season and the non-opera performances, which reduce the visit itineraries, the entrance ticket to the Arena will have a reduced price of 3 EUR.
To allow for the staging of the first musical event on the non-opera calendar - 4 and 5 May, concert against violence against women 'Una Quale Centomila in the Arena - the Amphitheater closed early for visits at 15pm.

Museum of Castelvecchio
Until the 2 June visible the exhibition 'The art of ingenuity. The Clavis collection and other treasures'.
Keys, locks, padlocks and chests, for a fantastic journey into the ingenuity of the ancient art of safes. An exhibition that highlights the outcome of a research project born from the collaboration between the Museum and the Conforti company of San Martino Buon Albergo, manufacturer of safes and integrated security systems for more than a hundred years in Verona.

Until the 30 June, the enigmatic Flask scattered with flowers, the work of an anonymous master between 1625 and 1630, from the municipal art collections of the city of Forlì, and the glass sculpture Groviglio, created by Lilla Tabasso in 2021, inspired by the famous painting of unknown artist, are confronted in an unprecedented exhibition combination created by the Civic Museums direction within the "Guests in the Gallery" format.

Gallery of Modern Art
Until August 25 2024, the exhibition 'Giulio Paolini. Et in Arcadia ego', edited by Patrizia Nuzzo and Stefano Raimondi. The exhibition, which is part of the historic bond between GAM and ArtVerona, is the result of the first collaboration between the Gallery and Habitat, the section of ArtVerona that offers immersive artistic environments. The 2023 edition of Habitat dedicated to Giulio Paolini represented the return to Verona of a great master who between 2001 and 2002 had been the protagonist of an anthology at Palazzo Forti - historic home of the Gallery of Modern Art - on the occasion of the which he was awarded the Koinè 2000 International Lifetime Achievement Award.

Museum of Natural History
Visible to the public until May 12, 2024, the temporary exhibition dedicated to 'Delicate beauties: the spontaneous orchids of Verona'. The exhibition, set up in the atrium of Palazzo Pompei, curated by Giorgia Volpe and Sebastiano Andreatta, is organized by the Civic Museums in collaboration with the GIROS association - Italian Group for the Research of Spontaneous Orchids, Monte Baldo Section.

Archaeological Museum at the Roman Theatre
