Veneto wins the Smartphone d'oro 'Cultura' award with the 'Equamente al lavoro' campaign.
"An award that makes us proud because it rewards not only the creativity and digital innovation that have always distinguished our region, but above all the commitment of Veneto in the fight against the 'gender gap'. My congratulations to Veneto Lavoro, the operational, technical and instrumental arm of the Veneto Region for having obtained the Smartphone d'oro award in the 'culture' category with the 'Equamente al lavoro' campaign. The award, promoted by the PA Social Association, is dedicated to the best digital communication and information experiences of public bodies and companies".
With these words the president of the Veneto Region, Luca Zaia, expresses his satisfaction for the award given the day before yesterday, in Rome, at 'Equamente al lavoro', the Veneto Region's information campaign on Regional Law no. 3 of 15 February 2022 “Provisions for the promotion of equal pay between women and men and support for stable and quality female employment”, with which the Region has introduced a series of interventions to combat discriminatory behavior in the world of work; support stable and quality female employment and encourage the reintegration of women victims of violence; promote measures that favor the conciliation of life and work times; combat the Gender Pay Gap and guarantee transparency of information and neutrality in remuneration between men and women.
The winner of the Golden Smartphone and those of the special thematic prizes are established at the end of a process that passes through the examination and vote of a scientific jury of experts and a popular jury. 81 applications arrived from all over Italy for this fifth edition.
The 'Equamente al lavoro' campaign was launched in November 2023 with a conference in Venice at the Palazzo Grandi Stazioni of the Veneto Region and subsequently crossed all the Veneto provinces with 7 conferences involving institutions and social partners. The campaign also stopped in schools in Veneto, involving a total of over 200 children in training activities, and reached around 80 companies through in-person and online events.
Among other initiatives, a media and social campaign, the activation of the Sportello Donna (a virtual space on the ClicLavoro Veneto portal with notices, calls for tenders and useful information to facilitate the meeting between job supply and demand and training opportunities for women), the “Ambassador” project for companies that wish to act as spokespersons for the “change of perspective” within their organization, and collaborations with the Ca' Foscari University of Venice and the University of Padua for further studies on the topic of the Gender Pay Gap.
The final event of the 'Equitable Work' campaign is expected on December 13, 2024 at the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce of Padua, on the occasion of the Veneto Welfare day 2024.
