Trieste: The theater program of "R...estate in Armonia 2023 - Open-air Teatrino Basaglia" was presented.
The theater program of “R…summer in Harmony 2023- Open-air Teatrino Basaglia” was presented (Wednesday 7 June) during a press conference, held in the council room of the Municipality of Trieste, in which the deputy mayor and councilor for theaters Serena Tonel and the leaders of “L'ARMONIA APS – Association of Theater Companies Triestine” with the president Paolo Dalfovo, the artistic director and vice-president of FITA-UULT Riccardo Fortuna and the organizer Sabrina Censky Gojak.
The exhibition will begin in mid-June at Basaglia Theatre outdoors in the cool setting of the Park of San Giovanni di Trieste (via Edoardo Weiss, 13) the traditional space where, for the third consecutive year, the shows in Trieste dialect of the associated companies will be staged; in case of bad weather the shows will take place on stage inside. Event included in the L'ARMONIA TEATRO AMATORIALE Project, supported by the Regional Association FITA-UILT FVG APS, and thanks to the concession of ERPAC FVG and the patronage of the Municipality of Trieste.
“A rather important summer season opens – said the deputy mayor Serena Tonel –, with a large presence of the dialect theater of “L'Armonia” in Trieste. The dialect is a good "vehicle" to convey that Triestinity, also made up of knowledge of history and traditions. It is a cultural offer aimed at the people of Trieste but, why not, also at the many people who come to get to know our city and the great work done by the "L'Armonia" companies, capable of offering quality shows and adapting texts important in dialect, all elements that deserve to be savored within a very lively cultural panorama of Trieste".
