Brescia, the municipality organizes courses to train Baby Sitters

Brescia, the cycle of training meetings activated by the Department of Youth Policies of the Municipality of Brescia will begin on Tuesday 7 July to introduce boys or girls to the activity of babysitting, an unregulated figure.
In this period of recovery, the municipal administration thus intends to help Brescia parents who, when they are at work, must be able to count on trained people who can look after their children.

The course, which is divided into four online appointments upon reservation, has met with great interest from young people and has already reached the maximum number of participants (20 people). The objective is to give young people who want to have this experience the opportunity to meet with experts on the care to take when looking after children.
“It is an important opportunity for our young people, to whom families with children turn for educational support,” declared the Councilor for Youth Policies Prof. Roberta Morelli. “The eight hours of training will allow us to have some useful information to safely tackle this experience with children.”

Depending on the topic addressed, on each day of the course the children will be able to leave their contact details to an operator from the Youth Information Center of the Municipality of Brescia to ask for further information or a revision of their CV.

Furthermore, through a counter of listening/tutoring of Informagiovani, young people will be able to talk via telephone with an operator regarding the possible difficulties they may encounter in their babysitting job.

The course, mandated by the Municipality of Brescia, is carried out by the Cooperatives Il Calabrone and Tempo Libero with the Informagiovani of the Municipality of Brescia.
Since this is not a training course, no certificate of participation will be issued.
