Oristano, the fourth edition of Chocomoments – the artisanal chocolate festival – kicks off.

 

A Oristano is preferably used for fourth edition di Chocomoments – the artisan chocolate festival here comes a delicious and fun journey to discover artisanal chocolate. The event is organized by Chocomoments in collaboration with Pro Loco and the patronage of City of Oristano.

“This year too there will be three days of great attraction, for adults and children – says the Mayor Massimiliano Sanna -. From Friday 25 to Sunday 27 November la Chocolate Factory with all its attractions will be in Eleonora square with its load of aromas and flavours, with entertainment for children and many tasty options for adults".

“Chocomoments returns to Oristano with a winning formula highly appreciated by the public – he adds the Councilor for Productive Activities Rossana Fozzi -. The event, promoted by Chocomoments, which brings to every corner ofItaly the sweet art of the master chocolatiers sees the Municipality of Oristano and the Pro Loco committed to giving the necessary support for success. Many activities are planned: the Chocolate Factory, the Exhibition-market and the realization of Guinness tablet: plus every day i Choco baby dedicated to children, the Cooking shows with live creations and chocolate lessons".

The beating heart of the event will be the artisanal chocolate exhibition-market with i Masters Chocolatiers operating in the open stands from Friday and Saturday from 10am to 23pm and Sunday from the 10 20. A special opportunity to discover and taste the rich assortment of pralines, milk, dark and flavored bars, spreadable creams, chocolate liqueurs, covered fruit, cremini, wafers and many other proposals presented by chocolate artisans from different parts of Italy.

Inside the Chocolate Factory stand, the events dedicated to the discovery and processing of artisanal chocolate and in particular the workshop for the little ones, the Choco Baby, open daily from the 15.30 17.30. Children will be able to improvise by preparing delicious chocolates with the necessary equipment: aprons, hats and processing tools. The workshop lasts approximately 15 20-minute and is repeated over the course of two hoursCoast 7 € and booking is not necessary.

To discover the secrets of food, i Cooking shows curated by the Master Chocolatiers, scheduled from Friday at 18pm with a moment dedicated to discovering the masterpiece of Viennese pastry making with show cooking “How is a sacher born?”. Great anticipation for the show Saturday at 18 during which a long Guinness chocolate bar will be created 15 meters; a free tasting will follow for everyone. Sunday at the same time the Oristano praline, a special and unique version of chocolate made with a typical ingredient of the area and dedicated to the city.

Saturday and Sunday from the 10 12 adults will be able to learn how to make chocolates by taking part in mini-praline-making courses run by Chocomoments master chocolatiers (cost 30 euro per person, reservation required by writing to giancarlo.maestrone@gmail.com).
