In recent days the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di San Vito dei Normanni, as part of the training seminars for the diffusion of the culture of legality, met a group of students from the 1st Comprehensive Institute of San Vito dei Normanni. At the meeting they have 60 students from the third year of secondary school participated “Don Vincenzo Meo” and the teaching staff. Constructive debate, in which they have been some delicate issues were addressed such as the spread of narcotic substances among young people, the resulting health risks and the related administrative and criminal consequences, the phenomenon of bullying in its different forms (physical, verbal and online), as well as the issue relating to gender violence, given the resurgence of femicide cases recorded in recent weeks.

Particularly activates student participation who asked numerous questions and represented some doubts to the Officer. The meeting involved the kids with whom a constructive discussion was established, arousing their curiosity and addressing these delicate topics with a direct approach in which, in addition to regulatory references, practical cases, personal experiences and considerations were exposed. LThe meeting is included in a broader calendar of appointments which see the Carabinieri operating close to young and very young students with the aim of increasing civic sense and trust towards the institutions.
