Potenza, cinema: the casting for the protagonist of the film “DICIANNOVE” produced by Guadagnino and Morabito.

Luca Guadagnino and Marco Morabito with the companies Frenesy film and Lotus Production have started casting for the search for the protagonist of a new film project, the film "NINETEEN" first cinematic work by a young debut director, Giovanni Tortorici.
Director Guadagnino, recently awarded the prestigious Silver Lion for best director at the Venice International Film Festival for the film “Bones & All”, appears this time exclusively as producer of the film.

The production of the film is looking THROUGHOUT ITALY, EVEN AMONG NEWBORNS, A BOY BETWEEN 17 AND 20 FOR THE PROTAGONIST ROLE.

The research will involve various Italian cities and regions and Basilicata and in particular the city of Potenza was chosen as the first stop.

In recent days, those responsible for casting have promoted the initiative among students from Potenza and Basilicata thanks to the collaboration and support of the school directors of some of the most prestigious high schools and secondary schools in the city and province.

The appointment is set for SUNDAY 16th OCTOBER 2016 at CINETEATRO DON BOSCO (P.zza S. Giovanni Bosco 11 bis, POTENZA. The casting will take place 11.00 - 16.00. It is not necessary to book: interested young people just need to show up on the date and location of the casting by 14.30 pm to secure a shift and have a short informative chat with the casting managers.

No specificity or particular skills are required, the only binding requirement is the age strictly and chronologically between 17 and 20 years. You are looking for a special guy, with gentle features, passionate about art in all its forms (literature, music, cinema or theatre).

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or adult with proxy.

Participation in the casting is totally free.
